In Pennsylvania, sand tarts are a holiday baking tradition! These delightfully colorful cookies are fairly simple in terms of ingredients (basically just butter, flour, and sugar, with a bit of egg wash on top) but they’re so incredibly delicious. If you’re not careful, it’s easy to eat way too many of them in one sitting.
